breaking the ice

Conference centres are evil. In a conference centre you have everything from accommodation, to board, lodging, bars, workshop rooms. So the effect of a conference centre is that you never find you way out of it. And this is bad. I am here in Istanbul now for quite a while and I still have never managed to get out of this hotel. In fact, once on the terrace, so there is still a sky here! I will be advocating for more outdoor educational opportunities now, hoping I get to attend some of those. So I goggled a bit and found this image, this is what Istanbul is supposed to look like!
